My name is BaileyVerona McKarns!
My middle name comes from my great-grandmother, and I am very proud of it.
Here’s the gist:
I grew up in a small town in southern Ohio on a certified Angus beef farm.
I am a huge animal lover and a people pleaser to the core.
My bucket list includes traveling to all 50 states, and I’ve traveled to 29 so far! (Looking to travel to Colorado… Washington… Hawaii— if you want to elope, let a girl know!)
I am a 2022 grad of Kent State University! GO FLASHES! I bet you can’t guess what I got my degree in…
I’ve been with my wonderful fiancé, Tyler, since 2022. He is the drone photography part of the relationship!
In August 2019, I adopted two Chihuahua mixes named Scooter and Shadow. When Tyler and I got together, I gained a beautiful German Shepherd named Shutz.
I love to read thrillers, young adult fiction, and romance novels. My dream job would be reading books for a living.
I started my photography career by doing sports photography for my hometown newspaper, The Free Press Standard.
I take 100 pictures a minute (not an exaggeration, kinda a problem).

My fiancé, Tyler, and our dogs.
I officiated my mom and step-dad's wedding in October of 2024 (Tyler was the photographer!).
This is my co-teacher, Jenna, the 7th-grade math teacher, Jade, and I on school-picture day!
We bought our first house in October of 2025.

I'm a big K-Pop fan! We went to DC with my friends, Jenna and Lindsey, to see Stray Kids in June of 2025.

This is one of my best friends, Alisa, and me on her birthday. We met at Kent State while completing our undergraduate degrees!

Favorite Books:
The Hunger Games series: I was obsessed with this in 6th grade. Like wrote Fanfiction, obsessed.
A Court of Thorns and Roses series: I am CURRENTLY obsessed with this series. It’s all I can think about at times.
The Frozen River: This is a historical fiction based on a true story. The main character is a badass!
Alchemised: This book was originally written as a Dramione (iykyk) Fanfiction (clearly, I have a history) and has many trigger warnings for a reason, but I couldn’t stop reading.
